Containerised storage is the most common form of storage used within the removals industry. It is a clearly priced, cost effective way to store items for a short or long period of time. Common times containerised storage is utilised include:

– Selling your home but having to wait for a completion date when receiving keys to your new property, therefore needing to store your home contents.
– Relocating or moving abroad (for work or pleasure) and requiring temporary storage until you return.

Chess Moves only use indoor containerised storage facilities (wooden 250 cubic feet containers pictured) as opposed to outdoor, metal shipping containers. All facilities are indoors and CCTV monitored 24 hours a day.

Whilst containerised storage works out cheaper than self storage, please remember that once all your items are moved into containerised storage, the container is shut, labelled and shelved until the date (which you can decide) it is due to be loaded and delivered to its new destination. If you think you will need access to the items then “self storage” may be a better option.
